It’s a stormy, lazy day in the Three Kitties plus a dog household.  A feisty playtime was had this morning – I got tired just watching them!  They were introduced to the window this morning since the new playhouse is sitting directly under the window.  The window has shutters on the bottom half, so the kitties had not looked out the window before.  It was cool watching them watch cars go up and down the road.

We are getting a lot more purring, which warms my heart.  It means they are getting to know us and feel comfortable with us.  Unfortunately for Muffin, this still isn’t the case.  Hissing still going on.  But we are determined to continue to bring Muffin into the room until they see that she is a non-issue.

If you’re southern, you may say, “Play Perty”… meaning a toy.  I grew up with my grandmother saying, “Pick those play perties up!”  Well, the kitties received a new “Play Perty” today!  Thanks go to Nancy, a co-worker who gave the kitties the playhouse.

Eh... Seven?

What a quick one!

Seven went to see Dr. Herold today.  She has conjunctivitis and maybe a tiny touch of a upper resperatory infection.  Her temp was normal, her eyeball was fine, but the rims of her eye were swollen and gunky.  Eyedrops and antibiotics were prescribed.  Bonus nail clipping!

Poor Seven took a turn for the worse today!  Her eyeball looks fine but she seems to have an infection as it is icky looking all around it.   I talked with the doctor today and we’re trying to get an appointment for tomorrow afternoon.
