The Three Kitties

Lovely playtime we had tonight.  Other than my being irked at not having all the pieces to a new play perty, everything else went OK.  The babies had a new different play perty – much like the triangular purple play perty, this one is a square purple play perty.  At least it got my mind off of finding shedded snake skin in my laundry room!!!!  Tomorrow I’m buying two large boxes of moth balls to toss ALL OVER the laundry room/storage room (its a 6′x12′ room off the carport).

It's happened... they've driven me crazy!

Sorry, I’ve been so covered up this week!  Between school (Legal Ethics, ech!) and work (database development and web server migration – both on deadline) I’m lucky to get to play with the babies at all!   I’m planning a day trip to either Asheville, NC or Tallulah Falls, GA for Saturday… can’t decide.

The babies have been pretty docile lately.  Only exception would be Jack who is always up for a game of catch with Cletus.   Jack likes to run out of the playroom into the great room and turn around and run back.  Love to be able to read his mind some time!  Skipper likes to get in my lap but does not like to be held.  Addi doesn’t come to us, just sits on the back of the chair or couch behind our heads.  But Addi will let you hold her – belly up – for quite some time.  Jack will sometimes come sit in your lap and will let you pick him up and hold him for a few seconds and buh-bye.

Good gravy.  First they rip the play perty bottom… now, they’ve broken the bones of it!  I spent close to $90 on this thing because it was heavier and supposedly better made.  The problem is actually… I’ve got big kitties!!!!  I’m going to attempt to Gorilla Glue the bones back together.  But I’m not buying any more components to it!   I’m going to have to make a play perty out of heavy dowels and canvas!  And don’t think I won’t!

Well, the babies have already ripped the stitches out of the newest play perty.  I’ll have to sew it back together.  In the meantime, I purchased a climbing  piece that had a bottom to it and placed it over the “patio” to keep them from jumping so hard on it.  Here I thought that it would hold up better than the old one!  Well, there is still hope!
