Wowsers… what a day. So busy but didn’t seem to get a thing done with all the rain. Our lake is up 2 1/2 feet in just a week’s time with all the rain and it should rise again with today’s deluge.

Massively busy day set for tomorrow — right here at home. I’m having a throwing away day — dump… Goodwill… Salvation Army… THEN… painting the living room which may run into Sunday. If the kitties have new olive green spots on Sunday night, just get used to them!!

Mother’s birthday today so we had a small birthday party for her. My sisters family came down. It was a good day!
Muffin is currently snoring away and the babies are in the back of the house as usual. We played pretty hard so they are probably sleeping. Race starts at 7:43… hopefully rain has stopped. Go Tony!!! On to the pics:

Muffin’s 14th birthday was yesterday. I remember going to the Animal Shelter and choosing Muffin over her sibling because she was quiet and her sister was barking her head off. It was a fake-out!! But Muffin was just a big white furball mainly. I immediately took her to my vet, where there was a new vet doing his internship… Bobby Long… gosh, he was gorgeous! LOL! Bobby checked Muffin out and Muffin reached up and gave Bobby some tongue sugar. I was so jealous!
Anyhow, Muffin and I went to Brittany’s school to pick her up. She was in third grade. I told her I had a surprise for her in the car. When we got to the car, I reached in a picked up Muffin. “You got me a dog?” Britt said with the greatest wonder in her voice and eyes. She held the furball and then said, “It is a dog, isn’t it?”.
Muffin has been such a blessing to our family. I know we won’t have her much longer – hopefully God will grant us another year or two – but we will shower her with love for as long as she is with us. We already had Alexander English (Alex) and Michael Jordan (Joey) when Muffin joined our family. She got along famously with them both. We knew she would do well with Jack, Skipper, and Addison from the get-go and we were not disappointed.
Happy Labor Day! The babies were weighed right after the playtime. Addison weighs 6.5 lbs; Skipper is up to 9 lbs; and Jackson topped the scales at 10 lbs! Addi’ metabolism keeps her slim and trim!

I didn’t walk into the house until around 9:30 and had to immediately walk Muffin. It’s been a very busy day. But, it was PAYDAY! Bright spot of the day! The babies were in the playroom and running up and down the hall when I settled in. When I picked up Cletus, Jackson ran back to the playroom, because for some reason, he thinks he can only play with Cletus in the playroom! And someone decided to spray the floor with kittie litter… a HUGE amount of kittie litter!!!!
Past my bedtime. Just got home a bit ago from my Financial Learning Experience class at church. Interesting. Found out I’m screwed financially! j/k Here are some pics for today! Enjoy!
