Well, its been a very rainy day. Why “Torture Tuesday”? Because I didn’t know what else to call it! We have a radio station in town that has “Torture Tuesday” every Tuesday. They put one of the DJs through some crazy stuff. Check it out at http://www.b937online.com/pages/378854.php .
I got a new camera today so these are the first pics I’ve taken with it. Lots to learn about it. Let me know if you think it does a better job than my other one.
I’ve been so busy I barely know what day it is. This blog has been a victim of that.
I have just a few pics to share today. Skipper is fighting fleas and mites and she seems to be allergic to one or both species. Addison and Jackson are infected as well, but don’t seem to be as bothered as Skip. We had been treating them with Revolution, but it just didn’t work. The vet told me to switch to Advantage Multi which covers fleas, mites and heartworm. I certainly hope this works! It’s double the cost of the Revolution… close to $60 a month for the three of them plus Muffin’s flea meds at $15 a month… takes a hit on the old wallet.
Anyhow, pray that the Advantage Multi takes care of their problem. The vet said it would take about three monthly applications before we see results.
Been a while, hasn’t it? I didn’t even realize. So, we weighed the babies and…..
Jack: 10.5 lbs
Skipper: 9.5 lbs
Addie: 7.5 lbs
Holding fairly steady since the last time they were weighed.
Todays pics:
Sadly, no playtime tonight due to computer troubles. I found out two things… one component of the software that came with the new webcam would not work with my laptop. It caused my laptop to get the blue screen of death. After finding this out, I installed all of the components except for the offending component. Unfortunately, this is the component that allows for zooming and focusing.
The other thing I found out was that my laptop is only sending out 4 frames a second when streaming. It should be streaming 20+ frames per second. This is because I have to stream wirelessly to my router. If I had a 30 foot cable… good gravy.
Anyhow… I apologize for the inconvenience. I will have something in place by Thursday to stream the next playdate.
